Catherine is a third generation painter from the Harvey Family in Cornwall.She studied at Falmouth and Winchester Schools of Art.
Her childhood and formative years were spent sailing the the Cornish, Breton and Irish coasts with her family and her links to the sea go back generations. Some of the most memorable journeys of her childhood were travelling out to the Isles of Scilly from Newlyn Harbour and spying the the granite castles and caves from off shore.
Catherine spent many years working in tandem with the Great Atlantic Galleries who as part of their Great Atlantic Roadshow arranged for artists to take Masterclasses and work with young Art students, Drawing , Painting and Printmaking.
Catherine mainly exhibits privately now and her work can be seen at the Dulwich Festival in London in May.
